Freediving Friends Under Ice – THE freediving under ice lollapalooza in lake Iso-Melkutin, Loppi, Finland 3rd-8th of March 2026!
Freediving Fisherman & Friends organizes 5 days international freediving camp at Iso-Melkutin in March 2026. The event has the guaranteed FFF boogie!
There will be several tent saunas on the ice for warming up, and plenty of cold water right under the ice for cooling off. Multiple lanes will be built under the ice for both depth and distance dives, as well as for fun and photography.
Accommodation and evening gatherings will take place at the Grand Villa of Räyskälä, which offers plenty of space along with warm saunas and hot tubs. The Grand Villa also has two kitchens where cooking is possible.
The event price includes the freediving event with saunas and safety arrangements, as well as accommodation (if you have chosen package that includes accommodation).
For freediving under ice we recommend 5mm freediving wetsuit. In addition you need neoprene socks and gloves, mask, fins and enough weights (5-8kg at least). Lanyard is mandatory equipment at the event and diving is not allowed without that! We sell FreeXperience lanyards at the event and we also offer rental weights. Places in the event are limited so move quickly! We recommend at least Aida 2 level freediving certificate.
Participants have to fill in:
- Aida Medical Statement and If you answer any of the questions YES you have to deliver doctors statement that you are allowed to dive
- Liablity release
Read them carefully through and send them filled to us before the event by email freedivingfishermanandfriends@gmail.com. Diving is not allowed without these!
Each diver must have valid personal diving insurance.

If the weather conditions are not safe for organizing the event (for example thin ice) the event will be cancelled. The paid fees will be refunded.
The tickets are non-refundable after purchase.
